If you go with 2 ISDs in a mirror match, who wins and how do you win big? You obviously win big by killing one ISD while not losing anything. However, I think going first leads to just a win in most cases.

The Rebel builds (e.g., Raddus) allow your navigation skills to be more of a factor. (e.g., in 2x ISD mirror, maneuvers will have less of an impact since you are pointing the pointy ends at things).

So yes, I believe the Rebel builds allow for greater chance of bigger point swings.

There was a double ISD list in 3rd, edged out of the cut by just two points.

If you have activation advantage (ideally +2) you'll outnavigate and kill for 8-3 or 9-2. Happened to me a lot of times.

Yeah, comes down to navigating. Making them move into you and being able to double arc puts you at a huge advantage.

The loadout matters a lot too. ECMs should fair much better than EWS. Gunnery teams can really help at long range to maximise damage. Intel Officers can limit the bracing.

Yup.. that's him. Not sure how it will go but we're cheering him on here! And by we I mean the whole Armada community! I mean me!

Honestly we're just hoping he doesn't embarrass himself too badly. He's up against some really tough competition. It's a pretty big deal that one of us even got the invite/time to go to worlds so he's trying to have a good time and play some Armada against people that aren't me.. win or lose. And I'm doing this whole thing vicariously through him since I will probably never go.

Postable? I guess it depends on the players involved and not wanting to have their fleets known for the finals, but I couldn't imagine having pics of ongoing matches without showing upgrades would matter all that much.

Yes it is.

When i do that for vassal i ask the competitors not to log on to the forums during the match so they cant see comments on the photo.

One of my friends got to play yesterday, and another is playing today. Hopefully they will get to face each other.

Any updates on the Comms Noise guys? Ben got me into Armada via the yogs

67 rebel ships with 3 SA and 24 transports. Supported by 67 squadrons (one list with 12 a-wings.

67 imperial ships with 12 SA and 21 gozanti. Supported by 99 sqadrons.

This is an average of 4 ships without and 4.34 with SA. Average squadron count is 4.74. There 8 fleets without any squadrons at all. This is all less than yesterday. Especially the squadrons.
