Hi guys,

Gunnery Teams are great for ISD-IIs but an ISD-I is less likely to get a decent shot at 2 targets. You could kit the ISD-I out as a carrier with flight controllers, expanded hangar and boosted comms or you could go for boarding troopers instead.

TIE-Ds with Sloane aren't that great. I see what you are looking for with rerolls of crits to try for accuracies but with only 5 squadrons you can be pinned if Dengar goes down and there is still a squadron battle to win. I think you need more fighters such as replace Raider for a flotilla and add 2-3 more TIE Fighters or interceptors.

Ok I'm really agree with the Gunnery Teams so I might give a try to BT. I really want so far to keep RAIDER so what could I do to improve my squadron?

You can drop the bomber command center to make room for one TIE and downgrade Dengar to a generic for another (if someone brought enough fighters to really warrant Intel for more than a turn, you should be focused on killing them anyway.) I would still end up recommending you drop the Raider for Jendon, a third TIE and a Gozanti. It’s a good ship, but Sloane lists need to strike a balance between combat ships and carriers, and at this point you’ll be lacking carriers. Just putting that out there. Hope this helps, good luck and welcome to the game!

I get what you mean. And I might try in the end to drop the Raider for another Gozanti should I put Comm net on gozanti or both gozanti without upgrades? I like the BCC for the reroll to profite of avengers.

Thank you for your help

The reroll is definitely nice, but bear in mind you have a decent chance of getting an accuracy anyway (since you can reroll a crit, it’s 31.25% for every fighter except Maarek, who has a much higher chance: I think it’s 68.75% thanks to his ability.) With BTA commanding 4 fighters and packing XI7s, you should at least lock down their brace, which is definitely the main concern. Comms Net can be nice turn one to make sure Avenger gets both a squad and nav token, after that the Gozantis usually want to push fighters. Alternatively Hondo Ohnaka gives you a squad and a nav elsewhere, if you’re comfortable giving them repair and CF tokens.

Thank you very much. I'm doing another game with my original fleet without Gunnary team. Then if I don't feel it i'll try two gozantis
