Congratulations to the new World Champion. What a cool list, what a great pilot, and what a heart-warming father/son moment to see on stream.

Kudos to all the top finishers: but for a few die rolls or minor choices, you were right there.

And to all the competitors who, from what I hear, overwhelmingly conducted themselves with integrity, respect, and good humor: congratulations and thank you.

A special thanks also to Gold Squadron Podcast. The stream was great! I only caught 2 games, and pieces of others, but the stream was professional and engaging. The games happened to be very exciting, too.

Now the Palp Aces list I would have most likely used myself. And we knew that the control bots are strong in this meta. Still.. having both at the same time in the final? Don't think we did see many bets on that. °_^

Not being on the radar of the american players seem to be the biggest advantage the international players have, because they can bring their own meta lists and face a bunch of unprepared US players. ?
