See, a lot of the cost is NOT the cardboard. It's the hours spent developing and testing in house of the new rules. Printing and shipping is on top of that. Dropping 20% off the price is quite the margin... You might be solving your own budgetary problems, but you're certainly not solving anything for FFG.

I'd be surprised if the boxes weren't already priced too low . Just from a printing and shipping perspective it probably costs very close to $50 per unit and that was the lowest they could go and not risk serious bottom line impacts. I do not agree with the v2 changes but I do believe the designers think they are doing whats best for the competitive side of the game.
