Also has the coordinate action (from the live stream). Although confirmed to have the same dial. Guess that's not that big a deal with a rear arc and more effective actions for support (and presumably a fairer price point)...
I'm wondering what the firepower of the rear arc will be.

The price of the lambda had always been fair, the issue was always that it became "useless" later in the game, because it never could get arc again. Palp solved this partly via making it a prime target, but that rear arc is just as good for this. And coordinate on top is really, really nice. I am afraid that they might increase the price.
Seeing that games will be 200 pts now, I’m sure all ships have nearly doubled in price
actually, it looks like that actual expansion blisters will go up in dollar price as well, 20 for small base and 30 for medium. I’ll assume 40 for large.

One of the nice perks of the new edition - something different from the front . It was why FFG said they couldn't give it a rear arc in 1.0 - because the rear gun's firepower was much less than the forward arc, and they didn't have a clean way to handle that at the time. Now they do - ships with multiple arcs have the attack value for each arc printed distinctly on their cards.

Well, OGP wasn't bad - but most the named pilots were kinda overpriced. Kagi, particularly, was bonkers expensive for what he did - although certainly did come into his own a bit once LRS came out (still not enough to justify the pricetag, though).

On stream they mentioned it being 3 front/2 rear.
I just wanted to bump this topic to see if there has been any more information on the shuttle?
I played it last night and well, the dial is just SO bad at turning but I think I heard in one of the play-interviews that the dial was not going to change on the shuttle but it will get "something" that will help with manoeuvring.
Any idea as to what this could be? Personally I just want a single hard turn to be white, thats all it needs.

That something could just be the fact you don't care as much anymore, what with the rear arc and Coordinate action making it much easier to contribute to the fight beyond just being a Crew Delivery System.
Hmmm, perhaps but I spent quite a lot of time on asteroids.
Just can't do a decent turn.
But will Palp survive to 2.0?

Pretty sure it has Coordinate now, which makes it a good support ship before you add any crew or other abilities. The rear arc will also help keep it relevant for longer. As with everything else in 2.0 the biggest unknown is the cost. Even with the same dial and worse crew options, if the cost goes down it could still be a great ship.

Yes, he's been partially spoiled already. Looks like he gets to use his Force ability (turn 1 Focus to a Hit/Evade) from anywhere on the table. He adds 1 Force to the ship he's on.

I hope it won't be 3 front, just for fluff reasons. The notion that a transport shuttle (which we have never seen fire) has the same firepower as a fighter like the X-wing never sat well with me. (Though admittedly giving it a 2 front would mean a 1 rear, so...)

it has 3 in the front right now, and they will most certainly not take firepower away from it.

Look at the model, there are a lot of guns on there.

What? I was hoping for 4 dice in the bullseye. That thing had 8 heavy laser cannons in front! You never wanted to be in front of a hostile shuttle, as they could ruin your day quite quickly.
I've seen somewhere that:
1. It's dial is same.
2. It has a three dice primary with bullseye and a two dice aux arc.
3. White coordinate.
4. The ST321 title, after you perform a coordinate action (something) range 0 - 3, (missing) acquire a lock on that ship, ignoring the range limitation.
Points 2 to 4 change its impact in a match already. Not only will it have Palpatine but it will also be pushing out free actions and potentially gaining a lock for itself. That's huge, especially since Yorr, Kagi and Lt. Lai will likely have EPT now too.
Also, they could make it cheaper than the TIE Reaper to compensate since, as people have already pointed out, this one is dedicated transport.
****, since the upgrade bar is on the app now, who says it can't have three or four crew slots or discounts on taking certain crew cards?

Probably shouldn't compare it too much with the Reaper since the Lambda is large base and the Reaper will be medium. They'll be playing a bit differently, even if they fill similar roles.

Agreed. The players I have spoken to seem to think that the TIE Reaper will be constantly banking (one bank with Ailerons and then the three white bank) and jamming to keep Palpatine safe as opposed to the Lambda which will likely be slowly moving forward, firing and coordinating more in a support role.
I mean, if you have the Lambda + Death Troopers + Coordinate + ST321, that's actually quite an annoying ship you have to deal with.

This, it has a beast of a stick in cannon (pardon the pun).

Yeah, but it's also a transport commonly used by VIPs during a time of civil war. And it has those two giant linked cannons on the left and right.

It's a transport shuttle made with the idea of transporting troops in and out of battle.
It is the same ship as the U-Wing basically. Just better looking and cooler.
@redxavier , we all care about you and your thoughts really, there just seems to be a few of us Lambda lovers that are camping on this thread. Here’s a pint ? for ya mate!
No worries mate. I guess my mind is still a bit stuck on the old X-wing games where these were easy targets who couldn't do much to defend themselves! In any case, yeah, it does have quite a few big guns on it.
