It's a transport shuttle made with the idea of transporting troops in and out of battle.

It is the same ship as the U-Wing basically. Just better looking and cooler.

Which makes me think we might see an ability that mirrors the U-wing. Take advantage of the original articulated model. Flip those wings up and spin 'er around. (And decrease agility to 0)

Plus, the ship is seen on screen turning around during a stop.

Yeah, the more I think about, the more I become convinced it's going to happen. Dropping to zero agility is a pretty steep price to pay so I think it's probably balanced. The Hippo Ballet becomes very interesting especially If Yorr makes it to 2.0...

Can you imagine? The new U makes 90 degree turns or a full 180. If the Lambda could do that with its Aux arc, then watch out boy! They just got more dangerous.

I'd be okay with a 180 only. Turning Rotating like a U seems too much.

Depends on the timing. If they made you flip the wings upt the turn before you spun around, you wouldn't hear any complaints about it being OP.

I think a 90 degree would be more interesting. I had that idea a few months ago.

The 180 would make it much better. Yeah, it couldn't provide a faux 360 fire arc, but it could really turn around easily... The 90 degree turn still limits her in the movement.

Also, the U-wing seems a faster ship, it should be able to turn more than the Lambda

No worries mate. I guess my mind is still a bit stuck on the old X-wing games where these were easy targets who couldn't do much to defend themselves! In any case, yeah, it does have quite a few big guns on it.

Looks like she’ll be fun to fly w/coordinate and not so easy to tail with the 2 dice out the rear and the option to run a gunner as well. I love mine, even though I hardly ever run Palp.

In the old X-wing games, the lambda shuttle had identical firepower as the x-wing. For frontal laser cannons. If you found them easy it was because they were huge and slow turning.
But please replay the Tour of Duty I Mission 10 in the first X-wing game and get obliterated by 5 shuttles.
