HOW MANY CORES?

By Boba Rick, in X-Wing

So I'm wondering how many cores I should get. I know I need two damage decks, one for me and Mrs. Rick, but do I need a second core for the second deck or should I just pre-order and use the promo deck?

Does anyone know if there's anything else that is critical in the core to where two players in the same house might need a second core?

one core. if you pre-order you should get promo damage deck.

I think they said you get stuff in the core that's unique to the core

so I guess if you want two Lukes?

gotta confirm that, though. Pre-order + damage deck seems like a much better deal in your case

Thanks.

The cards in the promo deck are bigger.

Weird.

Makes me wonder if they will over the pre-order bonus with international distributors as well, because FFG shipping to Europe costs usually more than a whole 2nd core set ^-^

Not that we would not have been fine in the past with sharing one damage deck for playing at home.

$15 for shipping?? I can almost buy my own ship for that much!

Subtotal $39.95
Est. Shipping $52.62
Est. Tax $0.00
Total $92.57

FFG at their best. And the best part?` Their est. Tax is incorrect, so the real total would be $111.08 for one freaking core set via the FFG store. :)

Ouch!

Do you have a local store? I'm thinking I'll pre-order from a local store to get the bonus damage deck. I check with MM and they don't know if they can give them out with online pre-orders or not.

I have 3 local stores. :D

And MM is ridiculous expensive for oversea shipping as well. Not as bad as FFG, but still american bad. I really don't know what's up with us american postal service and general logistic networks. :)
