Hey, lookie there, if we complain enough, our voice can be heard. A first glance shows an extra gunboat and one less Deci, any other changes?

That's much better!

I figured the 3 Decimators was a typo. wouldn't be a FFG news post without at least one

I'm thinking it was more likely a typographical error, but it's nice that the list is a bit more balanced.

So much for my dream of a 6x Decimator swarm.

39 dials for the Scum conversion kit, only 34 for the Imperial kit...

Edited by Wedge Nantillais

Does everyone else notice that the Firespray is no longer Imperial?

Plenty of room in there for a few more TIES.

I'd be a lot less likely to look at this as a money grab if FFG weren't trying to force us into buying another core. The conversion kits should contain EVERYTHING an existing player needs to get into 2.0.

The Firespray was never Imperial, it just had a weird pre-release.

No firespray is a real travesty. Only 4 ties is also pretty rotten. Looks like they have finally put the nail in the coffin on tie swarms coming back.

My heart goes out to the one dude still flying Imperial Firesprays in 2018. He's really getting the shaft with this change.

Swarms will be back in a big way my friend. Especially with turrets getting reworked completely.

It’s always been Imperial and should still be. The game just got really expensive again and many will only be able to stick with 1 faction. I’ve always been a 1 faction player with just enough of the other ships to fill a few lists. Now my faction lost a ship I’ve been playing since I started this game (about 2 weeks befor wave 2 dropped) while getting less bang for my buck out of the conversion kit already.

Don't forget that you will probably get 2 more with the Gozanti conversion kit.

Update + new core = 8 Ties. Relax.

4+2= 8? Math?

I have 12 ties and 4 Xwings. Not uncommon numbers for many players I’m sure.

Not to mention Bullseye arcs. Good luck avoiding the Bullseye arcs from eight different TIE Fighters. At least one or two of them will always be able to get a very prime shot.

I would be shocked if the Epic conversion kit didn't include several TIE Fighters.

It's only 6, unless the new core has 4 dials.

four ties in the conversion

two ties in the core set

two sabine's tie dials (eight)

but now I am going to have 13 ties I will be trading models for cardboard

Looking back on it, I think the Firespray was put into the game as imperial because it is such an iconic ship and it's an obvious choice to get it into the game as quickly as possible... and Scum didn't exist back then, but Jango and later Boba Fett were not imperial. Boba was simply hired by them.

I personally have no problem with it being in both factions since Boba is heavily associated with the imperials even though he is a bounty hunter but understand that FFG wants to really make the factions actually feel distinct.

That it ever was Imperial was a relic of the game pre-scum faction. Slave I was iconic, and they wanted it opposite the Falcon, so at the time the only place it could go was Empire. This makes sense as the time to move it out of the Empire and leaving it solely where it belongs.

$100 to be able to fly a tie swarm in 2.0 is a really tough sell.

$50 and I can’t even use all my old in faction ships and am getting less than the other factions is starting to sound familiar...at least we know one thing they didn’t change in 2.0- 2 actually.
