Yesterday, my kneejerk reaction was "I'm done." I literally typed that in another thread. Then last night and all this morning I am like "well, $20 isn't TOO bad for small base ships" and "my FLGS always gives good deals".

2.0 truly looks exciting and to be a big step up in quality, simplicity, and to be a lot more dynamic as to not get stale.

I was concerned about the conversion kits as well. I have 4 x-wings but the conversion only comes with supplies to convert 2. I then realized (am desperately hoping) that the epic conversion kits will come with everything needed to convert their 1.0 counterparts i.e. another x-wing set for the x-wing that came in the Rebel Transport and one for the TIE Advanced and the two TIE fighters.

I must apologize, yesterday was a kneejerk reaction but I am excited for 2.0 (sans the initial outlay of more cash to convert my stuff).

There's much worse things to be addicted to than FFG's blend of plastic crack.

I’ve likened it to trying to play an MMO where you know the servers are being shutdown for a new game in a few months. There is a weird hollowness.

I can't really muster up the will to fly my 8 upgrade Sol anymore, because who knows what it'll turn into

but I'm definitely going to be flying the Reaper ?

I keep looking at my lists... What upgrades and pilots will change? Be removed? Will they be like meeting old friends or making new ones? I find myself for the first time in years -not- building lists.

It's been a while since so many of the high post count people have been this active. That is one of the best signs for 2nd ed. in my eyes.
