I know FFG is going to stream the top 16, but do we know of anyone streaming today's IA matches?

I'm excited to see if the debate gets settled. Most of the talk is that the game has a definite Vader meta. I argue against that. I'm hoping my boys from Michigan will prove me right!

Rumor is there is like less than 15 Vaders there. I'm guessing Uscru may have steered some people away at the 11th hour kind of thing, cause he's awesome on Mos Eisley and really good on shielded for Nal Hutta.

You have got to be kidding me!!! I knew it!!!! This game is far too open to get sucked into a vader only meta. Good players can win with any faction. I've been saying it for months and now I feel vindicated.

I'm a bit curious as well how faction/ List meta is stacking up. A person I was practicing with is taking Vader, but Uscru + Hunters was making him seriously reconsider. Not having the option to open those doors when you want was letting the hunters get all set up and draw a huge number of cards before engaging.

The guy in the bottom-left corner with his hands on his face encapsulates the agony and ecstasy of Skirmish.

"IG-88 & Droids" is not "IG-88 and Weequays" I guess? Did I miss where somebody got HKs and/or Sentry Droids working with IG-88?

He's got Vader/riots/jets. His opponent has Han Rangers.

Love it! Seems pretty balanced to me.

Is the popular armies a breakdown of the faction breakdown. As in, can we then assume that 4% of the imperial armies are not vader+jets/riot or palp+jets/riot (36% - 25% - 7% = 4%) ?

If that is the case, we can also summarize that while somewhat smaller, Mercenary, is the most diverse faction by far with 21% not being one of the popular lists.

We should be getting more stats today. One thing that FFGOP tweeted was that out of all participants, there was one single deployment of Echo Base Troopers used.

Why anyone would run BT-1 over Onar is a mystery to me. Onar doesn't get one shotted as easily, and provides bonus defense to Luke and Iggy.

Most of the lists I play have some sort of theme to them honestly, but yeah, in a tournament (esp. Worlds) I would think that optimization would b e required, hence the similarity between all the lists.

I personally find BT-1 absolute junk.

Not sure i'd take him to worlds but he has great synergy with IG. Desperately needs Targeting Computer tho

Very Swingy,

I've had him put 8-9 damage on a figure though from 6 spaces away and still get pierce 2 as well and you can still use the Hunter cards on top of that. He has potential. He can also do next to nothing missing outright due to 3 accuracy and all surges and red one

His strength is Missile Salvo, which can be used for setup or cleanup. The green/yellow attack is a good way to get Targeting Network back out of your discard pile (even if you miss).

I'd run BT with Onar, but I would only run BT over Onar if I was doing Droid/Hunter traits only.
