New evade action?

By Lightningclaw, in X-Wing

Does anyone know how the evade action works in 2.0? I've heard it's weaker, but can't find any rules on it.

AN evade token now changes a result to an evade, rather than adding one.

In general, a lot of the defence stacking and regen has been HEAVILY toned down.

Apparently it doesn't add an evade result, it changes one of your dice results to an evade result.

The evade token allows you to change the dice only, I think it is change a focus to an evade. It is talked about in the Team Covenant video. They said evade was way too powerful before.

I believe it's any dice to an evade.

Force tokens can be spent to change a single eyeball to the relevant thing, in addition to on other abilities.

Thanks. Couldn't remember, Zach changes a focus to an evade in the game he played opposed to using his pilot ability that allowed him to change a focus.

So basically, the way we originally played it, which was wrong, is now right. ?

Evade tokens now convert a die to an evade result instead of adding it.
