Why are they making an Xwing/Uwing fix pack when they knew 2.0 was coming a few months later with cards for them in the conversion kit? Players will end up with 1 T65 from the Xpak and 2 from the new Core plus the 3 they most likely already have from the original core and xwing xpak.

It comes with all the 2.0 components as well, so it's a nice way to introduce people to the new game gently.
I also realyl appreciate it coming with medium base ships in both boxes, so we can start ghetting used to how they fly.

Was that confirmed? I saw the Reaper was a "hybrid" pak but didnt see anything about the other one.
They both are. This is confirmed.
It's also confirmed that they will both contain content that's not in the conversion kits, for that reason.
And dang, those 2.0 compoments from that kit look fun. Seriously, look at the batrep Alex Davy did on TC playing the Tube brothers (U-Wing and X-Wing), that is support and intership-synergy done right! Gives me high hopes for all the underpowered and ultimately boring support ships without making me afraid of another Fenn Rau.
