Just bought a SNES, but I can't play N64 games!?

How dare a company update and change their product to create a new experience!?

And to learn that my SNES is now invalidated!? It's not like I can still play games with it or anything!

How dare they realize that the old system can no longer handle the large amount of data needed to play games going forward and remain up to date!

Grrrrr, [angry flailing and stomping sounds] !

Actually my SNES is running N64 games ?
And Genesis, Game Gear, NeoGeo, etc

The new SNES is powerful enough to run all those consoles. ?

Cassette tape?

VHS?

Betamax?

Flip phone?

Dial up?

Some of us might just be tired of rebuying what we already own.

And all those still work! Just now, XWing has moved on to a new place, just like dial up. You can choose to upgrade, or not, it's your decision.

But like with dial up, I'm ready for cable...

Yes. It's called life. Things change, and while I'm usually on the side of "it's different and therefore wrong," this change is decidedly for the better.
