Hey, @TheShard , any updates on your characters?

First one (the new guy):

I can redo him as a Warrior(Aggressor) or a Seeker(Executioner) if we need to rebalance.

Looks good for the most part. However, I did find a couple of things that need fixing. You have a couple of extra skills that you don't have enough XP for. I believe one of them might simply be a rank put in the wrong place. After spending your starting XP on Abilities, Specs, and talents, you only have fifteen XP left to spend on any skills that aren't part of your free starting skill packages. After accounting for your five free starting ranks, (presumably spent one each in Deception , Perception , Stealth , and two in Skulduggery ), you have enough XP to buy one rank each in three career skills , two of which you already spent on Discipline and Lightsaber . That leaves you with only five XP . You have Vigilance and Cool listed as also having one rank each. However, those are both Non- Career skills, each costing an additional 10 XP each , which you don't have. However, I believe the rank in Cool might be intended for Computers (which is a Career Skill), which would use up that last five XP. So, you need to move that rank in Cool to Computers (or another career skill you don't have any ranks in, and you need to remove the rank from Vigilance .

OK, one thing I forgot to mention to you in my last post. As stated in the opening post, your two characters cannot know each other.

That means your starting character cannot be related you your Signature character in any way. Your starting character's mentor will be another player's character. This also means that he could be related to another player's character.

Okay cool I guess I missed that point I will have both of my characters up later today.

Is there space still open? I used to GM a group of players and would love a chance to play a few characters.

Looks good. However, given his backstory, and Specialization, I don't see how or where he would have learned to use a Lightsaber. I would suggest taking a different non-career skill that better fits his background. Given his military background, I would recommend Ranged Heavy instead.

That makes a lot of sense. Reworked him as a Warrior (Aggressor) anyway. Updated in same place. Characteristics the same, skills almost unchanged.

Master-level character:

Im finishing up characters tonight! Any chance we know when we can start?

@Rabobankrider Hello there! I was trying to find out what pur characters are doing at the start of the game? Are we all on the Jedi Star?

My plan was that each player would begin on a planet of their choosing, and in the first session each would have a short encounter which would allow them to be gathered together. It just makes it easier for players to explain why characters are where. I'm thinking that the first session will revolve around the 'master' characters, so those are the priorities to start with.

OK, here are my suggestions to get him down below the 2000 XP threshold. First, I'd drop one of your non-career specs, and spend some of that XP for at least a few upgrades in Move . It's a power pretty much every Padawan learned back in the day, and was a required element of the Jedi Trials. In particular, at least one Magnitude and Strength upgrade. The other option would be to sacrifice some, or all, of the bottom tier talents from your last two specs, as well as a few of the Third tier talents. If you sacrifice all of the bottom tier talents from Arbiter and Shii-Cho knight , you'll be 1960 XP, giving you a buffer of 40 XP to spend on Move upgrades before hitting the 2000 XP limit. If you sacrifice an entire tree, you'll get below 1900. If you sacrifice Shii-Cho Knight , you'll get down to 1867 XP before buying into Move . Instead, if you sacrifice Arbiter , you'll be down to 1817 XP before buying Move .

Not bad. However, since you're playing a Colonist career, He needs to be made as an Edge of the Empire character with Obligation as his primary mechanic. He gains Morality as a secondary mechanic, but does not get the "starting benefits from it. the other option I'd recommend, if you want him to be a native F&D character, would be changing Colonist: Doctor to Consular: Healer . You still need to add background information, Motivations, description, and list your lightsaber with your armor in the Weapons and Armor block. I would also recommend getting either a Jedi Utility Belt (1000cr) or, at the very least, a standard Utility Belt. Otherwise he looks good.

He does not know move. The force doesn't come to him in such a hamfisted way. He feels the force through intuition and communing with the force directly. So ebb/flow, sense, forsee, supress and protect. If there's seek i should drop that.

But he is a blade master and smith. Think dwarven blacksmith. I'll tinker with it. He got too old before proper training to control the force directly like move. That aspect of the force is frustratingly cut off for him. If anything i may buy the base power... To represent him tugging on it as if on a string. He is more at the whim of the force. Than an active user. But he's practiced with the lightsaber from a young pup, so he is very very good. But very defensive as he never had real saber wielding opponents early in his learning.

This is the back story I'm using here for him.

He discovered a box when he was young. It was full of family heirlooms, including a green cloak and a broken saber hilt.

As a young'n he was educated as most Drall are, in a wide range of scientific disciplines. During his studies he identified that the broken hilt was in fact a jedi's lightsaber. Knowing this he kept it hidden but secretly started working to repair the saber.

One of the family heirlooms was a holocron archive, containing the force echoes of many Corellian Green Jedi.

He taught himself in secret but never was able to articulate control over the force, he learned to sense it though, very finely, to ride its waves to sense and learn and predict its patterns.

I wouldn't drop any of your Force powers. That won't save you enough XP. To get below the 2000 XP threshold, you need to sacrifice bottom tier talents, if not a whole spec.
