Would a carbonite-frozen (or force hibernated) survivor of Order 66 be acceptable for the master?

Also would a flunkout of Skywalker's jedi academy (before Kylo Ren's massacre) be acceptable?

Let's see the characters.

Nice. My signature character dates back to D6. That. Was a fun conversion exercise. You’re also going to need a fresh starting character.

Edited by Tramp Graphics

Fresh character is just straight starting no extra +xp?

So i have a version of the drall at 2000xp and im going through it now and pruning some unnecessary talents

As of now its armorer soresu arbiter seer shi cho

Any ideas on how to approximate morichro? That was a neat ability if the d20 character. That guy was a Jedi Watchman. I suspect I'll use Investigator and Shadow to approximate that.

For the new one, I'm thinking a deserter from the Republic (deserted right after the destruction of Hosnian Prime) who found his way to the Jedi. Probably a Guardian(Protector) if nobody objects to another guardian.

Yep. Straight up RAW starting F&D character. You can use a species from the USM if you want, or from any of the published source books, as normal. So, if you want to play a Zeltron, Jawa, Ewok, etc, go ahead.

I had to do that when converting Korath too.

Morichro would simply be the Heal/Harm power. It may not be exact, but there are some powers that simply haven't been included in the new game. Others are covered by different powers. For example, the Battle Influence Force skill from D20 (an aspect of Battle Meditation from D6 and D20) is now covered under the Influence Emotion upgrade.

As for having another Guardian in the group, while I am not entirely opposed to it, I would ideally like to have at least one from each F&D career represented at least among the starting characters. As it stands, among the starting characters, we have one Guardian , and two Sentinels , in total, we have three Guardians , two Sentinels , one Seeker , and one Mystic . We have no Consulars nor Warriors .

I am interested in joining up if there are some slots that are still available.

I can change my starter to a consular, I think that'll work fairly well for what I was planning anyway.

Yep. Sure are. The ship can hold 22 people including "crew" and "passengers", so we can fit up to 11 players in total, but a more manageable amount would be 5-9 players. So, yes, come and join in. Let's see your of starting character and your Signature character.

Sure. if you want.

Oh. One thing to add. Everyone let @Rabobankrider know where in the galaxy each of your characters are located via private message .

So my signature character is Jornek Accendere a Smuggler of some I’ll repute and fame he is a Corellian Human whose twin might still be alive and/or dead due to the events of Order 66. My other character is his going to be his adopted force sensitive child but I am wondering where the new Jedi might need help.

Post them up on SWsheets.com and let's see them.

Looks good for the most part. However, I did find a couple of things that need fixing. You have a couple of extra skills that you don't have enough XP for. I believe one of them might simply be a rank put in the wrong place. After spending your starting XP on Abilities, Specs, and talents, you only have fifteen XP left to spend on any skills that aren't part of your free starting skill packages. After accounting for your five free starting ranks, (presumably spent one each in Deception , Perception , Stealth , and two in Skulduggery ), you have enough XP to buy one rank each in three career skills , two of which you already spent on Discipline and Lightsaber . That leaves you with only five XP . You have Vigilance and Cool listed as also having one rank each. However, those are both Non- Career skills, each costing an additional 10 XP each , which you don't have. However, I believe the rank in Cool might be intended for Computers (which is a Career Skill), which would use up that last five XP. So, you need to move that rank in Cool to Computers (or another career skill you don't have any ranks in, and you need to remove the rank from Vigilance .

OK, one thing I forgot to mention to you in my last post. As stated in the opening post, your two characters cannot know each other.

I am restarting the mixed level TFA/TLJ era campaign and recruiting people for it. I'm looking for at least five to seven players , with at least three willing to split/alternate GM duties.

As before, each player needs two characters :

  • One, a native Force and Destiny Starting XP character, built by RAW. These will be training to become a new generation of Jedi.
  • One 1500-2000 XP "master level" character from any AoR, EotE, or F&D career.
    • Newly made Master level characters get 1500 XP while previously played Master level characters can keep any XP they've earned from their previous campaign up to 2000 XP.
    • "Signature" character should ideally be one you have played before, though that is not a requirement.
    • Signature characters get an additional 18,000 credits for customized gear/lightsabers or whatever said character originally had from his/her original campaign if he or she is a previously played character.
    • Converted D6/D20 characters are welcome.
  • All Lightsabers will be built using lightsaber crafting rules from Endless Vigil.
  • No Ilum Crystals. Ilum is lost/destroyed, and therefore its crystals are unavailable.
  • Each character can be of any species from any of the books, as well as from the Unofficial Species Menagerie .
  • All careers, specializations, and Signature Abilities from all source books are open, except for the Retired Clone Trooper (given the time frame, no clones are likely to still be alive).
  • Each character will use the mechanic (Duty, Morality, Obligation) appropriate for his career.
  • No player's Master level character will be mentoring his own Starting character, nor have any connection between them.
  • At least three Players will alternate GM duties, and for some adventures/sessions split the party, each GMing a group.

Once assembled, the party will be headquartered on the Jedi Star .

Current Players/GMs:

@Tramp Graphics Korath Lorren / Rei Atin

@Rabobankrider Kark Skregan / Reesh Zarru

@SithArissa Arissa / Xanth Holm

@TheShard Drez'n Bercilak (pending upgrade)/

That means your starting character cannot be related you your Signature character in any way. Your starting character's mentor will be another player's character. This also means that he could be related to another player's character.

Shes Human she gets 2 skills as career at creation. I also took the extra 10xp morality option. Dude we haven't even started and you are already trying to find mechanics to argue about.

Ah. Right. Forgot about that. You're good then. ? That means you still have an extra 5 XP to spend.

you do need to purchase gear, though. You have Ancient Sword listed as an attack, but not in your weapons and Armor box, and you have no other equipment yet. After purchasing the sword, you'll have 150 credits left.

Oh, @SithArissa , I though you might like this:

Don't know how it saved the backstory but not equipment. Added the sword and concealing robes. 0 credits remaining.

Looks good. If my math is correct, you still have five unspent XP remaining. If I mighty make a suggestion, cash those in for an extra 1000 credits to buy a Jedi Utility belt (1000 credits even).

I'm using oggdudes says 120/120 spent.

Let me guess, Oggdude spent ten XP from Shien Expert on the second tier Reflect talent. If you instead buy the Top tier Reflect talent from Niman Disciple, it saves you Five XP, thus leaving you five to spare.

I don't think I need to min/max that hard. Not sure how Xanth would have gotten hold of the belt in story either.

You don’t need a “story” reason.

Most of the equipment in a Jedi Utility belt is pretty standard gear anyone can get. The only “unique” item in it is the Jedi multitool. You need a belt anyway to carry your weapon. It might as well be the best. ?

Fair enough.

Ok, all that’s left is reduce your XPs to 115 and she’s done.

If you want, you can use the pic I posted for her above for her sheet.
