Is there anything besides fluff to the new damage deck vs force awakens damage deck?

I guess I am looking to see what are must buys besides the conversion kits.

If the text is the same, I’d rather use my system open deck.

Based on the team covenant video, looks like there's actual changes (damaged engine increases the difficulty of a turn for instance, so presumably a green would only become white instead of red), the new version of thrust control fire gave 2 stress IIRC

It's different, with at least some re-wordings and altered effects. Also only 5 Direct Hit! cards in it.

Sure about that? I thought alex said "You only have 5 direc thits left". I just assumed he'd taken a couple already (not paying full attention)

Yo can use sleeves with open cards for the back and v2 for front.
