I already plan on buying a new core set, 2 X-Wing 2.0 packs, and enough upgrade kits to bring as many of my ships as possible up to snuff.
So... yeah... uhm... I'm in, but... uh...
KIDNEYS! GET YOUR KIDNEYS HERE! FRESH HOT KIDNEYS! GET 'EM WHILE THEY'RE FRESH! YOU! YOU SIR IN THE BACK! KIDNEYS FOR SALE!
2.0: Are you in or are you out?
In! I'm splitting a kit with a fellow scum player. I only have one of each scum ship.
Actually I really don’t think I was effusive enough in stating my ‘in’-ness. We are (in theory) making all of the dozens of irrelevant pilots interesting and playable again, plus adding new ones. Introducing tons of new content all in one go. Making it feasible to get all the iconic OT ships on the table. At this point for me the worst part is waiting.
Balls deep.
I am on the fence - i want to be in, what little we know sounds like a great improvement......
But the cost of upgrading the stuff I have may force me to be out....
Will have to see if it continues to look as good once we get more information, and I can manage to scrape some spare cash from somewhere!

I'm back in when 2.0 drops. Full stop. Can't wait to fly again.
This is me! You just described me!
I am so in - for Imperials only, mind you. Rebels can wait a few months.
All the way in. Each new bit of info I read or see removes another small doubt or fear that comes up.
Cannot wait!
I'll be in. Not all at once, but I will be.
Currently in. Everything thing I’ve seen so far, I like. There is still a chance a deal breaker could pop up, but I am hopeful it won’t.
I'm not making a decision yet but I'm heavily leaning toward quitting. They're juicing everyone for every little drop here. Why aren't they including the damage deck and templates in the conversion kits? They're making you spend a minimum of $190 to play what you could already play.
The same geniuses are still at R&D ready to **** everything up so I don't know what everyone's so excited about. You just got charged $200 to play a game competitively that you already could play.
Oh baby, I am BACK in. I just sold my collection a few months back and now I can start over with good X-wings and Tie Fighters and that excites me.

With 3 ships for the Resistance (Bomber, T-70, YT-1300) and 4 for the First Order (FO, SF, Up, Silencer), there isn't nearly enough content to justify separate kits, unless they are way cheaper. Still, very excited for the upcoming changes! Starting my saving now!
Don't worry! It'll probably launch alongside Star Wars: Resistance!
No really that's likely exactly what will happen.

I'M IN DUDES.
I wish I could, but I cannot justify it. Maybe I'll just stick with one faction and take the $50 hit... i dunno.

Will Starvipers have 1 bank barrel roll? If not I will immediately quite X-wing.
I'm in on the second edition cause the new app for frequent rebalancing will mean so many different generic ships will be playable. Literally all current 2-attack ships need rebalancing. (except Sheathipede) I'll likely choose 2 of the 5 factions to fly to avoid buying all the new things. No way would I buy multiples of the upgrade boxes.

I'm probably sticking to one faction for a while at launch, until I learn how the new game will play out
Which faction? that depends on which is better: the new ARC or Punisher ?
It’s not about converting the whole collection, it’s wanting to run more than two B-wings or Y-wings or more than 3 A-wings. (A concept not lost on FFG because Thug Lyfe, BBBBz, and snap crackle pop have been meta lists in the past, and there’s little reason to assume people would have sold off those ships).
I really want to be in, but I'm waiting to see how essential the app is. If it turns out to be all but compulsory for playing most formats of the game then I may be forced out.
My son and I are out for 2.0
We'll keep playing 1.0 at home instead of going to tournaments.
I need someone to take over as TO though...
The 2.0 stuff looks like a lot of solid improvements. I’m not sure if I’m up for buying a Core Set at $40, 1 conversion kit for each of the 5 factions at $50, extra conversion parts for the ships that the conversion kits don’t cover for me, the conversion kit for Huge ships, plus whatever the app costs. I’m probably looking at around $400 to play a game I already own but with new rules. That’s a bit steep for me.
Need more details, like what the actual points costs are. I have already started selling off large parts of my collection though, either to fund my 2.0 purchases or in the case that I do decide to drop the game entirely.

Reporting for duty! I can finally just buy and play one faction.
I will take one of each conversion kit and maybe some new ships... we will see. If I don’t need the core I may delay it.
I'm out! As a new player who isn't even fully up to speed with the game as it stands now (I only discovered the game, approximately a year ago), with a tight budget (already spent way too much, getting into the game and getting enough to actually have fun building squads), and with extremely limited playing ability (haven't been able to get my brothers or friends into it), I've already come to the sad conclusion that tournaments will likely be the only way I'll get much of a chance to even play the game. Now, with the way the game seems to be getting changed on a much more fundamental level, they pretty much screwed me out of being able to play. I can't afford to go out and buy all these conversion kits for all my ships, thus rendering everything I have useless in tournament play. I can't seem to get anyone I know into the game, for casual play. Might as well wipe off the thin layer of dust off of all my ships, and sell them off before it becomes a thick layer of dust. Thanks FFG, for making it even harder for me to have fun with this game. And, here I thought that big FAQ a while back stirred things up... ?

Everything will also be available online to use on a computer.
And if one cannot use neither PC or Smartphone there will be something like the "power levels" used in WH40k as rough estimates how powerfull a ship is.
More than likely in. I like it too much! Plus holidays and bday right in there so that’ll take care of two factions lol !
In. I’m only mad about the wait!
