Have some manners FFG!

I think it's a slap in the face that a single conversion kit won't cover an entire faction.

It's a bad taste in my mouth that they give us this after all the expansions we bought.

Give us veterans something pls.

They do cover an entire faction. Resistance and First Order are going to be separate factions on their own.

Technically they do cover an entire faction. They may just not cover the quantity of that faction that the buyer has amassed.

So they don't ?

So you get 4 X-wings, B-wings and Y-wings?

They cover the entire faction, just not the amount you, personally, happen to have. Was FFG supposed to call, text, or message each of us and ask how many copies we'd like to see included in each conversion? No? Fine. I'll need to pick up at least two Imperial conversions for just my Defenders and Gunboats. I'm waiting to see if that actually turns out to be necessary though.

Me personally No, but not even 3 of ships you can run 4-5 in one squad. They know that veterans have alot of ships.

It's redicilous to say they have to call every player, but they know.

It covers exactly half as many of each ship that you can spam in a single list.
They are half conversion kits.

Except for the 3 Decimators in the Imperial kit. Which makes no sense unless they've dropped the cheapest down to 20 points...

I would just about guarantee that eBay will have singles to cover what you're short too. In fact I know I'll be selling some there, I don't own 3 Tie Advanced Prototypes, so I'll eBay 2 of those dials. So buy 1 conversion kit and a few singles to cover what you need above and beyond that.

Also, Saw's Renegades will have both editions' templates for U and X wings, as well as the new core box having the ones for what you need there. So for instance if you buy 1 conversion kit, one saw's renegades, and 1 new core set, you'd then have 4 x wings good to go.

Theoretically wouldn't those who buy the conversion kits to sell singles make decent profit?

I only need one to cover everything, and I've sunk a lot of money into this game. I just was smart about it. One faction, 2 of every ship in that faction. I knew it would pay off at some point.

I'm actually impressed that people are having so many problems with the kits (other than they're $50, so we REALLY need them to deliver)

I've been playing this game since Wave 5 and one box covers all my options for one faction...except my four dusty Bwings :(

anyway, if you're interested in 2.0 but worried about cost PACE YOURSELF

no need to update everything at once

instead of jumping into TIE SWARM try a new hope (Vader and black squadron) or Return of the Jedi (fighters and interceptors) or rogue 1 (mix with strikers)

granted no decision need be final, but a little perspective couldn't hurt

I don’t want casuals to have to pay $80 to cover their ships. This is 100% fine.

The real issue is the number of COPIES of each upgrade card that will come in each Conversion Kit. That's the real problem that seems to not be answered clearly. I'm doubt the conversion will be a direct 1:1 compared to purchasing new blister packs. They would need to supply 100's of upgrade cards in each Conversion Kit to make it a true 1:1 conversion over purchasing the new version blister pack of the models you already own.

Why are the new ships $20? Does anyone know?

It was just a question :/ We can have mature discussions can't we?

PACE MYSELF! How dare you assume I have any self control or reason!

For all of my entire collection thus far, there is exactly one ship that isn't covered.

Seems fine to me.

We could have gotten ones that covered an entire faction. And they'd have probably cost double what these do. Instead we got half-boxes, so just buy 2 and you're set.

I do feel like they could have done a better job with the rebels pack given we have so many products that only make sense to purchase one copy of and so many ships that were reprinted in multiple products.

one Sabine tie

one ark

one ghost

one phantom 2

one phantom

replace with more x-wings b- wings a wings.

but I’m guessing this have everything to do with the new point costs. I’m guessing everything in the casual space will break down into five points.

At $50 it looks like FF is making a profit on this. Shame on you Fantasy Flight.

The conversion kits, at the very least, should be sold at cost (or close to cost).

Why should we pay extra for this?

I only did one of any particular SKU, so I'm happy enough.
