FFG needs a Community Manager. Someone to sift through every piece of press and interact with each community.
This would be an awesome announcement if someone pushed back and noted "Hey, we're only talking about X-Wing, maybe we shouldn't advertise all Star Wars games as being part of this?" Then they label is the X-Wing Hyperspace Announcement and they're all happy over there.
I think this would fix a lot of the issues that we deal with constantly.

I feel it's like the super villain rules of having a 5 year old on my council of evil. If they can see through my plan I should amend it.
If cling is the only thing they announce for this hyperspace b@llshat, they are very clearly telling us what they think of there other games.
"thanks for filling our pockets, have you heard of xwing? We can make more money off you with that game, you should take a look.
Even if they are just lazy, it isn't hard to sponsor a well known community source (i.e one of the blogs or Youtube channels) and speak through them, if you will. These community members could then go and consult (or FFG consult them) regarding community issues, desires etc etc.
Another Star Wars game, Battlefront II is in my opinion currently being revived due to a very communicative community manager and massively increased intereaction with Youtube content makers.
I offer my CV full of multiple warning points as evidence of my passion for this community.

FFG needs six levels of seperation between any real person and the community.

long and ardous research has lead me to the conclusion that based on available data and evidence that a person such as @ffgjosh does exist, but only in the X-wing part of these forums, based on these results my recomendation is that we live our lives in a way as we would should he not exist at all, for he seems to have no true effect on us.

Nah, it's been derailed enough, I think FFG/ Josh get the message to come take a peek at the thread.
I’d be happy to create and manage a FFG marketing and social media department. It’s one of those things that tends to get overlooked and can really hurt sales.
Somehow I can only imagine somebody from FFG working on the fourms would be equivalent to Sara Huckabee Sanders.
