Interesting, no New Trilogy stuff on the list????

I guess the First Order and the Resistance will get there own conversion kits.

The Quadjumper is on there though.

But there are so many ships, though? Yeesh, I dunno.

Article down? I'm just seeing a 404?

i feel the conflict within you, let go of your salt!

we have all been burned in the past, but today... today is a day of hope

On a less silly note: the ability to rebalance point costs as needed makes it much more reasonable. Sure, they'll make mistakes, but they will also be able to correct those mistakes. Cost issues will be addressable without waiting in vain hope for a band-aid in the next wave. And this will solve the problem of upgrades that are appropriately priced on some chassis but completely broken on one or two others coughcoughtltcough

Yea, I'm getting the same. Very curious about the amount of cards for each pilots (eg. How many academy pilots) in the conversion kit.

It calls out dials though, but you'd think they'd have at least that many generics too wouldn't you?

clarify dials

Does the conversion kit extend to the epic class ships?

What about Epic Mode?

Epic will continue to be a supported X-Wing format in future releases! Stay tuned to future X-Wing Second Edition announcements for more information.

Only 3 A-Wings? Ouch.

Nevermind

I wonder if pilots are sepparated from ships now, thus meaning that the tiles only stat out the actual ship.

The 2nd edition page shows what look like ship + pilot cards, as they have in 1.0 but graphically redesigned (new layout, new Force Charge, no points, no upgrade slots). The cardboard looks like it still shows the ship stats + pilot stats.

Thanks for the list. So yea, fortunately it seems a single kit of each faction should be enough for me - if there are indeed multiples of the generics to match the number of bases.

I'm not too keen on the $50 cost, but, oh, well.

I don't know, it sounds a lot more complex. Then again, as a non-competitive player, a more complex meta might be a good thing. At some level of complexity, I stop trying to optimize and just take whatever sounds cool. This might encourage that more casual way of list building that I prefer, but never seem to stick to as I waste time tweaking endlessly.

Still so many questions! e.g. what about scenarios? Are they revamping those? getting rid of them? What are their plans for epic play exactly? What else do they have planned other than 100/6?

How about allowing us to trade in those Proof of Purchase tiles for conversion kits? That'd be sweet.
