I hate to be a cynic, but I doubt any announcement at all is coming now. Why bother to even mention the report was only going to be about X-Wing? It was hyped up and explicit to mean all their Star Wars game,s or at least the most popular/current ones.

If they didn't mention anything, even a "when" for Armada today, FFG is simply not ready to release any Armada related info or thrown fans a bone, despite it's dedicated fanbase.

Of course. It makes sense from a business angle, really bad PR though. Legion, the third and likely final leg of FFGs Star Wars minis war games, had it's big release, wave announcements etc. It only makes sense X-Wing would get the "next big thing" followed, eventually, by Armada. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear anything about Armada products until a few weeks after Worlds. They wont want to take away the X-Wing 2,0 hype. June? Sounds about right, wasn't that when we got the teaser for Thrawn?

But the real screw up here is making it like the announcement would be for all their current popular Star Wars products....and then not even mentioning 'when' Armada "might" get some news.

Yeah I mean they said they would look at "some upcoming Star Wars Products" and that's what they did. They didn't technically lie...

However, the subheading for the original announcement of the Hyperspace Report says " Join Us for a Closer Look at Your Favorite Star Wars Products " which, unsurprisingly, many people interpreted to mean product representing most if not all their different Star Wars games. I mean, X-Wing is not my favorite Star Wars product, so yeah this was disappointing.

IF they do that we'll be down to one Wave a year. That will kill the game, bolt its coffin shut with nails the size of a man's arm, and hit the coffin with the Death Star's superlaser.
