I've seen a few lists pop up on the forums with Optimized Prototype on Omega, Leader, but I'm not sure that is appropriate. Krennic Reads:

Now to say you couldn't put Krennic on an Upsilon ... put he'd still only be able to affect GE ships.

I think you are correct. Sometimes we just read too quickly and get excited about what we wished we had seen

Correct. Optimised Prototype doesn't work on TIE/fo, TIE/sf, and any future First Order ships with few enough shields.

You can put krennic on any imperial ship.

He can only apply the condition token to a galactic empire ship (i.e. not TIE/sf, TIE/fo, TIE/vn or Upsilon).

If he is on an upsilon, he is still eligible to receive free target locks from the prototype attacking.

This is all irrelevant come 2.0 given the splitting of Empire and First Order into distinct factions.
