WWII had many armies to choose from. Also tanks and weapons evolved a lot during the war.

Here we have light versus dark (ignoring faction mirror matches). WHEN they add new factions, I don't see a limitation on fighting between eras. I would rather see more factions, than more light / dark options in the future.

I mentioned this in another thread but there was a PT banner in the background of the live feed.

Scum and villains' would work best as a third faction. Leaders could be Cad Bane, Boba Fett, or Hondo. All of Jabbas henchmen could be the corp units. The skiff from rotj could be a vehicle that could transport infantry units at speed with a turret. There's a rich catalog to choose from; it's almost too easy.
