In short, it doesn't work unless you have multiple Jammers, and if he's the only Reaper in the list, Feroph might as well not have a pilot ability.

I'm thinking its 46 points and unless there's a ready mechanic to control opponent's focus tokens then sensor jammer doesn't do much.
Also thinking that shooting at PS9 to re-cloak is "too late" given the high PS metagame at the moment.
Also not seeing the hype around a 2 point coordinate action. Squad Leader was 2 points and it was total trash. While this allows lower PS to coordinate higher PS ships as we've seen from the Ghost/Fenn meta it's primarily the strength of a higher PS ship allowing a lower PS ship to action which really shines.
Can someone please help me see the light here? I want to be optimistic.

That's my hunch too. Unfortunately that puts you one point over for fully-loaded RAC and Vader with Harpoons.

Fundamentally Whisper is still weak to PS9+, though, and especially to PS9+ alpha strike, which there is still quite a lot of.

Only if they have a focus, evade, or TL. If they don't then the jam token stays until they acquire one of those at which point both it and the jam fall off.
Lot of looking at Krennic on Whisper, but what about Tactical Officer on Whisper for the coordinate (or a cheaper Phantom)? I feel like that's where the super combo is going to start...

Not unless the Empire gets a better value crew carrier that can get above PS9 it's not. Giving RAC's action away is very expensive, taking Tomax is very expensive, and everything else is lower PS. It's better than Fleet Officer, probably, but that's about it.
It's just so hopelessly overshadowed by the Sheathipede it's not funny.

Jam tokens that assigned to a ship with no token to remove stick to the ship until it gains one of those tokens.

You could use Isard, PTL off of the Evade action, and have Tac Officer to coordinate an action in the Combat Phase. You have to take damage first, though.
Looks nice! It has me twinging to get two of these and two more Strikers for an epic "cloud" force (Bespin map).
I like it much more than the rebel expansion, but that's because that's the most cynical plastic crack ploy that I've seen FFG make so far...
So on one hand, FFG show themselves to be abusive of their client base, making me want to quit, and on the other they produce this AWESOME looking expansion.

Yeah, it might not be enough to get Whisper back in top tier, but I’m still looking forward to trying it out.
More traditional uses of Krennic (him on a carrier and giving the condition to someone else) was pretty sweet before, now works out even better for the carrier.

Only works if the target doesn't/won't have tokens this turn - eg. if it's stressed or bumped or did a barrel roll instead etc. Or if two ships jam it. Seems more of an opportunistic ability rather than one you actually plan for.

So, is this going to displace the Palpshuttle? One extra point can mean a lot in palp ace builds. And if it is, is it just gonna be the PS1 with Palp or are we gonna find space for LWF?

I would expect we see multiple builds, especially early. That breakaway speed is real useful with Palp onboard.
