Perhaps you already saw my Imperial Tanker scratchbuild... wel it all started out with this ship, the DX-9 Stormtrooper transport.

I used a papercraft template to get the several panels correct. Scaled down to 1:270 of course. Since this was my first scratch build, you will notice that not all the angles are 100% correct. But in the end, I'm fairly pleased with the result.

Then it was time to create the engine nacelles

And finally the work on the cockpit

All in all a fun experiment and it inspired me to scratch some more...

You can see the improvement from this one to the Imp Tanker.
