I agree to a point. at some point players will see the attention going else where and might get bored (generally the younger crowd). I will stick around still.

I'm sure that there are a lot of non-x-wing folks in that audience that changed their travel plans in order to be there for that "announcement". I hope they all at least get a free core set for x-wing 2.0.

Why have a Star Wars gaming news conference and have only a announcements for 1 of ... 10(?) Star Wars games? Pointless. FFG never fails to let fans down. Maybe this was the "Big" Armada announcement? Sigh.

It was purposefully misleading to gain max crowd.

And so unnecessary. I played in XWing from the start but got out around wave 6 because I didn't like the direction of the game. If they'd just said this event was a big XWing announcement, I'd have paid attention to it. I don't see a reason to mislead players of FFG games, and yet they did it anyway.

FFG, Month's ago: "Something BIG is coming"

FFG Today: "We replaced Armada with X-wing 2e! That's big, right?!?"

Oh, and I think they purposefully left Epic out of 2e because they don't want people to play it anymore. Just say'n......

On my first monitor I have the story board I am sorta working on, then over on #2 I have the FFG forums open to rage. Monitor number 2 is getting most of my time. Just Eric sitting behind me today, so maybe its OK but RAGEEEEEE.

It's a superior way to adjust any point-scaling game. It sucks that it took them so long to jump to doing it this way. The models been there for some time. I own almost 2 of everything Armada and wouldn't mind moving to a digital points system. Heck you wouldn't need to "replace" the cards either just include packs of sticker to cover the points in every new expansion.

At this point I fully expect FFG to wait 3-6 weeks before dropping an Armada announcement on some Random Friday.
