Anyone got a good source of Star Wars battlemaps? Some have been posted around here that I can't find anymore, like Whisper Base, and with Pinterest being possibly the clunkiest thing ever made, it's really tough to find maps that aren't very low-res.
Battlemaps
Well the whisper base nap comes from the AoR box set.
Honestly though, this is a very "less is more" kinda system, so battle maps aren't all that critical, and may actually be a hindrance at times...
They're still nice to have in digital format (esp if playing online).
All I could find were low-res copies :/

I managed to grab the Whisper Base map in question. Needed some photoshop touch-up, but it works fine.
True though, it's a system where you don't necessarily need maps.
There's a huge trove to be found if one searches google images for the star wars minis game. Sure, they all have grids on them, but we can work with that. If you're not averse to spending a little coin, there's even more to be had out there.
Wait until the next Maps of mastery kickstarter and pledge at the $250 level, you get one printed copy of everything he's every printed under maps of mastery title including terrain cards (which I got a lot of use out of getting 3x of the night life tiles was the best gaming accessory I've every purchased) and a digital omnibus which has even more which you can use online or print at places like office max/depot make sure you print on 80lb paper so it will hold up (and I don't know why they measure paper thickness is pounds)

Fun Unrelated Fact: The Paper-Weight conversion is based on how many sheets of paper it takes to make one pound of paper total. So here, 80lb means its 80 sheets to a pound. (all of this should be taken with an (*) the size of a small moon because it's been a while since I've looked this up)
On topic, now:

My group mostly uses a giant whiteboard to convey a simple environment bound and then we rely on description to get it the rest of the way. We're all film students, though, so it's almost a practice in writing more than it's leaving out preparation. We're a bunch of weirdos, though, so take that as you will!
