What if Krennic applied to all ships (meeting the requirements) in your squad?

Without conditions on that caveat, I don't think a TIE Phantom or Decimator would hate having him...

It's a pretty hard counterfactual either way.

In the real world, I'll agree that I think Deci + Ace builds are fairly likely going to be the top Krennic builds. Personally, I think I'm more interested in some sort of flexible 3 ship lists where I might put the condition on either of two other ships (like... Countess + Countdown) depending on what I'm facing, but that's probably me being too clever by half.

In a world where his condition worked on everyone... I guess that's still valid, but going for Reaper + 2x Ace would get three times the benefit of the condition. Maybe having a turret and access to Palp or Gunner/HSCP would be enough. Likewise, I entirely forgot about Phantoms. Going Phantom + Ace + Striker would probably work.

Don't get me wrong: I want fixes. I want strong crew. Imperials really seem hurting for standard, solid, value crew. Maybe the power-level of Sabine shouldn't be the target, since Sabine seems problematically strong (personally, I'd change her to only activate on bombs which detonate at the end of the activation phase... but that's still really good and it'd been something I'd thought about before the Advanced SLAM nerf). On the other hand, Sabine exists. Fenn Rau exists. Maul exists. X-Wings are going to be (19?) 20 points with droids and native reposition actions. The power creep is real, and I'm still clinging (at least in part) to an old notion of balance... like... Wave 8 balance or so.

But I don't really want a rehash of the Biggs problem, where Rebels had been for a long while. Biggs might not have been the most popular Rebel pilot, but he was fairly close, and Biggs really warped and limited the Rebel design space. In retrospect, now that the Fenn Rau floodgates have opened, maybe that wasn't the greatest thing. In some ways, I think one of the issues with a Krennic-for-all is the "he should really be on a Reaper" issue. Per @xanderf, Phantoms might work, and a Deci-Ace build might still be viable, but to take advantage of any sort of multi-ship stuff, Reaper seems like the natural fit. It just seems like it'd be as awkward or worse than the Palpmobile.

Also, I'd strongly favor putting a cap on any sort of multi-ship Krennic. Even if that cap is like 4 ships or 5 ships, I think that'd be much better for design, due to Epic. I recall someone had a Phasma crew suggestion a while back, with Phasma being a "if you coordinate, coordinate every ship in the radius." That'd just be a massive problem in Epic. Putting a cap of 2 or 3 ships onto something like that, even if it's a number unlikely to be reached in a 100 point game, seems wise.
