Hype the Hyperspace Report (Day 5): "I am your father!"

By Darth Veggie, in Star Wars: Armada

Day 5 of the hypetrain to the Hyperspace Report. This time neither game nor qute is linked to the concept of hyperspace, but it is the best Star Wars quote ever. Hence, who would I be to neglect it. Today's minigame is:

b082b6aec46f9265d800bc82f5608291cc624c30

And here are the rules:
• Post in this thread an anecdote that involves your child(ren) and Armada.
• The victorious player is determined by the amount of likes he gets for his anecdote before the Hyperspace Report is unto us.
• Prize: The likes you get.
• As always: Darth Veggie is not allowed to participate, but for spirit of competition reasons he will like every anecdote posted here.

Example:

• A close friend of mine once said that there is an educational benefit in Star Wars: It makes you wanting not to be an ***hole. The splendor and magic of Star Wars leads to kids wanting to be one of the good guys. Well, I introduced my little one to Armada when he was 7. We started to play with minimal rules. And there it was: The beauty of the Imperial Star Destroyer on the gaming table. What happened? Now my little one loves the empire and considers it to be way more cool than the rebels. It seems that I have ruined the educational benefit of Star Wars…

That is my anecdote. I am sure you can do better!

Tomorrow's minigame will be called

Introducing a 5 year old Grand Moff Nephew in full battle command mode.

Not content with blasting my fleet apart he demands more firepower.

"Uncle Mad Cat"

for he knows me as such

"Can you build me a Death Star?"

gulp.....

<Time passes and much sticky tape is utalised>

<Some Bothans perish>

Finally.

Look at the size of that thing....

Paw Patrol is an empire into itself. I'm not sure you should be giving them any ideas.

When I was a kid my Dad used my favourite beach ball as a planet in a lego movie he made for my cousins (this was early 1980s).

Anyhoo, the beach ball did not survive the process, much to my chagrin. I was perhaps 3 years old?

Anyway, that's what I thought of when I saw your Paw Patrol Death Moon.

For those who want to see my Beach Ball in all its glory, it is in the opening few seconds of this:
