Let's say my opponent has got a Partybus and rolls 2 damage. My X-Wing rolls 1 evade, but has only got 1 hull left.

What happens if I use Integrated Astromech to deny the damage card? Does this trigger the Gunner of the Partybus, because I didn't actually get any damage?

No, as you were still hit. The opportunity for Gunner has passed (and did not trigger) as you took a hit.

AFTER you took the hit, you dealt the damage to your ship. THEN you got rid of it. The attack still hit you, you just had a way of discarding the damage card.

Gunner only cares about if you get "hit" or not and could care less if you actually SUFFER any damage as a result.

There are times you may be taking cards from an attack yet the attack would miss and potentially trigger a gunner effect.
