Since red player is a big advantage with picking battle cards should boards be set up to give a side a small advantage so blue player has a small edge. If not I feel its going to make most peeps build to be red.
This is assuming most tourneys will have preset boards which I feel they should. The game is already longer than 2 hrs to play and setting terrain up would just add to the length.
Red player vs Blue
I don't really see a problem here. Every system I played had a fixed time for rounds on tourneys. So when after 90 - 120 Minutes no victory was achived via Mission or elimination of the enemy, it's up to adding points ![]()
Blue player has a huge advantage in the key positions objective and the only guarantee of red is with a bid which means you are sacrificing something for that advantage. The end.
More importantly how could that even work from a practical sense given the different deployment zone options that can pop up every game?
