Raddus Assault!

By schmidty1701, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

The basic idea of this fleet it that it can make use of any of the objectives (but ideally it wants Hyperspace). Against my usual opponent, a six point bid is enough to ensure I get Second Player. With Advanced Gunnery and Hyperspace, the MC30c is the objective ship (A wings would deploy w/ MC30c). With Dangerous Territory, Jaina's Light is the Objective ship. Regardless of the Oblective, the B wings will be on the Profundity.

Interesting concept, good on you for that.

If you're plan is to bid for 2nd and hope they go hyperspace assault I think you need to change out the blue objective. Nobody is going to pick hyperspace against the far less risky dangerous territory. Id suggest Solar Corona, that means their stuff goes exactly where you want it else you get the hyperspace you want.

I was wondering about the blue.

What the Profoundity title is for? You can't hide the MC30 into it because it has a command value of 2. And I can't see the point hiding the corvette in there because you couldn't put the MC30 into Raddus space.

Without rerolls the chance of triggering both the black and the blue crit effect is rather small.

And if you have so many fighters you'll need squadron commands a lot without any dedicated squadron pusher. Granted you drop your Bs. Then what? You activate them with the MC75? Then you won't be able to maneuver or concentrste fire. And if you don'tactivate the squads they wil be out of range od the target by the next turn.

That's what I thought but can you actually choose the order? So, Raddus the MC-30 into hyperspace, then Profundity the corvette. You can't bring in the Mc-30 until Raddus is back on the board but i think you can do it if you Profundity the corvette in first, then Raddus the MC-30 in. But there is no need for HA...

You can do it in the order of your choosing

as long as when everything is in Hyperspaxe, you still have something on the table.

if you don’t, you lose.

But what would be the point? With a single activation it will be very predictable where the ships will show up...

You do have 3 points, and you can chain the ship deployments them off each other, giving even an initial “in front” drop a potential rear drop for ship 2.
