Characters/Models for Rogue One/Force Awakens/Last Jedi?

By Digitarii, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

So my girlfriend picked up the R2D2 & C3PO pack for me as a birthday present and now I'm in love with IA. My question is, is there any indication we might see characters from the latest chapters in the saga? Seeing as there has been characters from Clone Wars/Rebels introduced, I was wondering if we might see some of the characters from those chapters.

Rogue One is very possible, as well as Solo.

I wouldn't expect any sequel trilogy stuff though, unless we get a new ST core set.

We got Rebels expasion now.

The new TV series (Resistance) will show us the Force Awakens backstory.

I think as the game progress nobody will save us from getting BB-8 :)

All I'm looking for is Zuckuss and 4Lom

I just saw this t-shirt today:

Someone tell me how again why we have a Dengar figure and no 4LOM and Zuckuss.

The new saga, quote-unquote, is schlock of the highest order and I pray to the ghost of Yoda that we'll never see anything from it.

4LOM and Zuckuss are being held back by Disney.

Unbeknown to us mere mortals, the great mouse is pulling the strings to set up a resurgence for the two.

When "FETT: A Star Wars Story" releases, 4LOM and Zuckuss will rise again.

In my personal opinion, the Force is Female, Disney, is phasing him out of existence. How we could go through all of Rebels and not see him means, to me, they don't want him around. Filoni made it clear in Clone Wars the Mandalorians don't even consider Jango a Mandalorian. We never got to see him after Bounty, even though there was animatic for Boba killing Bane in a duel, it isn't canon. Like everything else, they want to purge the canon of old characters.

Is that really so horrible? I feel that the biggest problem with the prequels is that they make the galaxy so small. Mustafar is in the Outer Rim, but apparently it's just a hop, skip, and a jump from Courscant is RotS. I'm glad that Disney is expanding the size of this galaxy far, far, away. I'm tired of running into Boba Fett every 10 minutes for 60 years in-universe time.

Because Dengar has had a ton of screen time in recent years in things like Clone Wars, Battlefront, the Marvel Star Wars and Darth Vader comics, and the Aftermath novels, whereas Zuckuss has been mostly absent in recent years. That means Dengar is more likely to be recognized by people perusing store shelves. I think that if it weren’t for the Rebels show giving us characters like Maul and Hondo, Zuckuss would have gotten a figure pack by now.

They could keeping them in reserve until the end like that green kermit fella.

I disagree, the new movies make the galaxy seem even smaller, we're still seeing all these skywalkers. Let's get to some of the other characters that actually moved around the galaxy and hob-nobbed with some of it denizens.

This is more about finishing out a set for completion's sake anyway for a miniatures game. Boba Fett, Bossk, IG, 4Lom and Zuckuss were all there, we just want them in IA. They're in every other type of media and commercial property Comics, stories, action figures, games, Legos, video games, etc.

Meh, honestly the biggest problem with Zuck and LOM is that they look too similar.

While Fett, IG-88, and Bossk have really cool character designs, at least Dengar looks silly enough to stand out.

LOM and the Zuck (not Mark) still have cool character designs, it's just that even though one is a droid and the other a big bug creature, they almost look too similar for more casual fans. Both with big insectoid heads, neutral colors, very little screentime. And in Star Wars, that is pretty much interpreted by the audience as shorthand that they're simply two random henchmen (see: every stormtrooper ever).

It's just hard to compete with Fett, a giant blender robot, toiletpaper head, and a literal dinosaur.

I'm not saying that we'll never get them (I hope we do just so these requests can cease already) but I totally get why they're so low on the totem pole.

well, none of the bounty hunters outside of Boba had screen time worth anything.

The whole reason Star Wars is so popular though, is it's ability to give a vehicle for the imagination to run wild with. Hence the Legends, countless video games, books, comics, action figures and action figure reprints, etc.

The most frustrating thing about SW is the fact that the powers that be keep trying to constrict or control that part o the universe

They have more comic and are in more novels than BT-1 and 0-0-0 the evil C3PO and R2D2 of that gawd-awful series with Dr. Aphra. They have no screen time, and have never had action figures outside of the miniatures for this game. On top of that, this is a game about tactical combat and it includes Ugnaughts. They really represented battlefield type characters in their brief appearance in Empire.

Sure, my comment was more directed at the "how do we have Dengar" thing.

Even BT and 0-0-0. though... I mean, it's pretty clear that IA is pretty friendly to the new canon, where Vader's droids (in his awesome comic ? )are pretty heavily featured.

And yeah... I'm not gonna stand here and defend ugnaughts ? . Overall, yeah, I'm totally on your side. Let's get these two in a pack so we can get it over with.

edit: Wow these new emojis are really bland...
