Offering of Blood - Question

By _GoDsHanD_, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hello,

I have a question regarding this card of Chaos. Imagine that i select one of my units to be the defender, all damage is assigned is going to be dead. Ok, can i Use Offering of blood after damage has been assigned?

And what happens to the damage my charr had assigned in her?

I would love some help in this. Thank You very mutch

you can sacrifice a unit for a cost of whatever action in the window between assigning & applying damage. when a unit leaves play, it takes all assigned and/or applied damage with it.

opponent has 2 damage for you. you have only a Savage Marauders in play. one damage is assigned to him, 1 to capital. You assign your damage to attacking units. You play Brutal offering & sac. SM & deal 2 damage to all battlefield units. Remove any dead ones. Then apply the combat damage that was assigned then. Even though SM is gone the 2 damage he assigned is still applied if the target is still there. if it isnt too bad - the target took it with him on his way out. You'd apply that one damage to your capital no matter what (save some damage cancellation effect).
