Edit, come to think of it, the Strormtrooper leaders have a 'pistol holster' too dont they? Maybe im just wrong here

yeah the Stormtroopers don't have slings, they use really big holsters for their blasters

After painting or playing did you not notice that Stormtrooper leader, DLT, and HH12 minis all have holsters for their E-11s? It's pretty intuitive on FFGs part, but let's fish for inconsistencies.
Even if you had never seen anything Star Wars related to up until this point.. you didn't notice that all of the regular Storm Troopers are also carrying the exact same "pistol"?

Did you not see I posted my 'note' of the 'pistol' holsters on stormtroopers and that im wrong 6 minutes after my post in an edit.
Its not like I couldnt ave deleted the mistake....dont know why people still post in reply.

Man, this was the best comment for me. But that’s a big hobby of mine still so I may be one of only a small handful that “get it” without a google search.
I’d argue his blaster doesn’t have a stock, and he built it from a stripped receiver that transferred as a “blaster” neither rifle nor pistol. So he made it a pistol 
It's not a pistol, it's an E-11 rifle. They are just a little... short.
