So i was wondering how would you solve building youre own droid minion group?

Lets say i want 3 combat droids to guard my shi* i mean ship

They all have to have the same stats if they are suppouse to be in thiere own minion group so what would happen if i built one really good droid and one that was less good?

There a few approaches to this:

1. Roll for each droid, only spend the advantages/triumphs so that the lowest results are used (you do not have to spend all of them).

2. Speak nicely to your GM and build three droids with one roll. Accept that it takes three times the time and three times the cost, and that you will spend all the time before failing or succeeding. All get the same custom setup.
