Short answer: No.

In regards to modifying Snap Shot rolls, you need to look at the source of the modification: Saw Gererra (Pilot) says that the stressed/damaged ship may reroll a die. That means it's that ship's choice - a choice that Snap Shot denies. Contrast that with M9-G8, which says you (the astromech ship) may force a target locked ship (whom in this case has Snap Shot) to reroll an attack die. In this case, the source of the modification is the ship carrying M9-G8, so that modification is legal.

I'm sure there will be disagreement, but no. Saw does not allow a stressed ship to modify its attack dice with Snap Shot. Saw is not modifying another ship's dice, but rather he is allowing that ship to modify their own dice. This is different from cards like R7 Astromech or M9-G8 where another ship is actually modifying the attacker's dice, with or without the attacker's consent.

this is the best explanation I've hear regarding why saw doesn't work. so I'll go with that. :) thanks
