With refit giving a -2pts, plus double mods, a cheap Uwing with double APL is 25pts. Or double ion projector as well, making it possible to ion a large ship with a single block.

With double APL or Ion, chance of doing 2 dmg or getting double ion is 25%

Could also go with ion+apl for the possibility of getting a small ship stuck and taking damage (thankfully this is not doable with Palpatine cheese).

Unfortunately it says "2 different modifications", so that will not work. But the Anti-Pursuit Laser and Ion Projector will, on Heff it will be fun.

probably too big a points investment for something that honestly doesn't occur too many times per game, especially given how clunky the U still is

at most, I'd do projectors/apl + that mod that gives obstruction

and as a nut-case who already runs 2x U-wings as blockers I'm all set to fly 4 of them with exactly this setup as soon as I get my hands on 2 copies of the new expansion

so in 3 or so years time when they finally arrive at my local gaming store (still waiting for Silencers) I'll let you know how it goes

National Capital of Canada for me... Asmodee Canada has been seriously pissing off the FLGS since they took over from Lion Rampant. It's all their products, not just x-wing.

No, because the Blue Squadron Pathfinders cost 23, with Renegade Refit they cost 21.

Just outside London, UK - Asmodee UK and the previous distributor Esdevium are pretty unreliable for small retailers as far as I can tell - we've had loads of the rest of the 12/13 wave just no Silencers and almost no Starwings.

but anyway back on topic - I'm looking forward to welcoming in the new X+U-wing meta, and considering the reaction I got to putting three large bases o. The table at our last local tournament (U, U, Dash), I cant wait to fly the bumper-cars
