I stole from... maybe @wurms or @Innese ... the following Cassian Andor U-Wing build: Expert Handling, Advanced Sensors, Kyle Katarn, Inspiring Recruit, Pivot Wing title, Experimental Interface (39 points).

Advanced Sensors to Focus or TL, into Expert Handling with Experimental Interface, perform a Green move, remove two stress and gain two Focus tokens. Surprisingly effective.

With the new Renegade Refit, it loses a Torpedo slot (I personally never filled it), loses 3 squad points (because of the EH reduction), and gains an extra mod slot. So 36 points for the ship now. That's pretty good. It'd allow more stuff on a partner, if that's your style, or would slot into a larger squad fairly easily (Cassian, Fenn, and a 3rd ship... Norra? slim Poe? loaded Lowhhrick?). The new mod slot offers more options, too. Countermeasures is technically an option, since that'd add more green dice (great if you do a flip on your title), but the target lock removal is a little redundant. Tactical Jammer might not work out, since the ship is quite nimble, and probably doesn't provide cover, but it might be worth testing: the ship doesn't really suffer from being blocked, so intentionally setting up as an obstruction might work. That'd pe a pretty sweet pair with Rey; Cassian gets in their face, and gives Rey an extra green die. Rey with extra green dice is great. Engine Upgrade is the sexy option, though. Boost then Barrel Roll before you move, and wind up with 2 focus tokens. It's got to be boost-then-barrel-roll, though.

Glad to see U-Wings getting love again. I think you are definitely on to something.

Outright just swap Cassian to Saw for a better pilot ability, pair with Rey, and enjoy!

Or Saw as Crew, but I want to try to fit him on a Norra Wexley build with R2D2. I see that as being REALLY nasty.

I'm in the same boat with my Wedge/Norra/Jan list. I now have 3 extra points to play with.

I've settled on hull upgrade.

Saw might work better indeed (and we'll see what the PS 5 U-Wing looks like...).

The thing about Saw-Pilot is that his rerolls wouldn't work with an Advanced Sensors, pre-move style of action economy. Perhaps just PTL/Engine would be the way to go for Saw. There'd be room for different crew. Perhaps Kanan Jarrus, to clear stress on those hard turns. Perhaps Jan Ors. Say, if Jan is on Saw, she could help Cassian convert his focus tokens. And Cassian can remove stress from a PTL Saw, so he doesn't need Kanan.

Oh god. I think I just talked myself into a Cassian + Saw double U-Wing list. I think each of these could be built for around 35-40 points, which would be enough to include something like a Fenn Rau or Ezra Sheathipede, or maybe even a Braylen Stresshog.
