Limited Rebel ships

By Jedijones95, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Hello I have recently started playing and could use some help making a 100 point Rebel squadron the ships I have are:

3 - X wings

2 - A wings

2 - B wings

1 - Y wing

1 - K wing

Thank you.

T65 Xwings or T70? Also your A&B wings, are they from the Aces, or their own expansions? That will dictate which pilots / cards you have access to.

The x wings are T65

The A wing and B wing are from aces

and I have an expansion

A wing & B wing

Well, you definitely want to start with Miranda Doni in a K-Wing. She's the rebellion's best pilot at present. Put a Twin Laser Turret on her and watch your opponents cry.

After that, it depends on how you like to fly. If it were me, I think I'd pair it with a Y and B wing and be pretty "tanky". Here's a sample list using only cards you own. It's not super duper powerful, but I think it's a great place to start. No super-complicated combos or confusing mechanics.

Miranda Doni (35) K-Wing (29), Twin Laser Turret (6)
Horton Salm (31) Y-Wing (25), R2 Astromech (1), Ion Cannon Turret (5)
Keyan Farlander (34) B-Wing (29), Autoblaster (5)
If you don't like the Autoblaster, you might try "Push the Limit" on Keyan, with 2 points left over to try other things. Push the Limit will give you the stress you need to trigger his ability.
Then, when you've tried that a few times, I'd switch in an A-wing for the Y or B, learn to fly fast and agile.

Thank you i’ll Give it a go ?

i appreciate your help

is one of the x from the transport? Are you willing to proxy some upgrades?

Alsk, what are you playinh against? Some friends at home? Going to a store to pick up games?

In the first case the liat above wolud work pretty much (and Miranda is a beast of a ship), also I would recomend going with a 4 ship squadron, something like

Y-Wing: •Horton Salm (31)
Twin Laser Turret (6)

X-Wing: •Biggs Darklighter (25)

B-Wing: Blue Squadron Pilot (22)

B-Wing: Blue Squadron Pilot (22)

Total: 100/100

Fly all in close for formation, the b in front, biggs and horton in the back. Biggs provides cover for the first engagement, then you can break.

If you are going to pick up games ar a store i highly recomend you to proxy at least Integrates Astromech and Flight assist astromech, as both give the x-wings a nice boost.

Hi I just play social with friends, i’m up Against Scum and villainy most of the time.

The list I gave you will be great for that, especially if their ship selection is limited too. That K-Wing will win you some games by itself once you learn how to work it. We can also talk about the next best things you can buy to expand your options if you want.

Last time I played against

Dengar - Thweek - kavl

Is there any tips n tricks I can use against the scum & villainy?

My opponents ship collection is made up of

2 - hounds tooth

2 - jump master 5000

2 - Star vipers

2 - Z95 Headhunters

3 - Y wings

is there any particular strategy when it comes to fighting the Scum and villainy?

As long as you are okay with proxying some upgrades, I have found this to be WILDLY fun. It is all about flying, and some simple action choices - nothing complicated AT ALL. It's elegant, and not janky, so you can win with it, but it won't win for you:

Blue Squadron Pilot x2

Advanced Sensors

Linked Battery

B-Wing/E2

Tactician

Rookie Pilot

Renegade Refit

Flight Assist Astromech

Integrated Astromech

Servomotor S-Foils
