Just wanting some suggestions for a twin kimo/hwk build

This is probably more points in the HWK than you'll be looking for and doesn't exploit the Kimo's to their full potential but for what it's worth:

If you can get Palob in among rocks, well stocked with focus then he'll be truly pesky and surprisingly hard to kill. Possibly not worth 36 points though ...

Or just debris, tlt, dengar, crow palob and 3 LRS kims

I was thinking something along the lines of this:

• Torani Kulda (35) - M12-L Kimogila Fighter - Guidance Chips (0), Title (1), Calculation (1), Harpoon Missiles (4), Overclocked R4 (1), Black Market Slicer Tools (1)
• Palob Godalhi (34) - HWK-290 - Vectored Thrusters (2), Title (3), Veteran Instincts (1), Ion Cannon Turret (5), Recon Specialist (3)
• Dalan Oberos (31) - M12-L Kimogila Fighter - Guidance Chips (0), Calculation (1), Ion Pulse Missiles (3), Unhinged Astromech (1), Black Market Slicer Tools (1)

Thoughts on this setup?

So Overclocked R4 + Calculation, that looks fun! I've never tried it but if I'm reading it right you'd spend a focus to get the crit and then potentially take stress to get another focus for any other focus results on the dice. It's a bit like marksmanship but cheaper and you take stress.

I'm not a fan of black market slicer tools. Knowing my luck my opponent removes their stress for no damage. Also, if that's the ploy wouldn't you want to pair it with some kind of stress mechanic?

Is Recon Specialist on Palob overkill? He's already potentially stealing focus.

I'm not as convinced about Calculation on it's own - is the idea to look for opportunities to trigger the harpooned condition?

Torani's ability with the enforcer title either strips all focus and evade tokens or forces the opponent to take a damage. If they choose to remove tokens, the title will proc a stress token on the enemy to then proc black market slicer tools. Chips and calculation to trigger harpoons. Ion cannon turret and ion pulse missiles to prevent enemies from actions..

Stress is only removed when you roll hit or crit, and then damage is also dealt.

It's a nice deterrent for ptl aces, also nice against stress bots.

I guess it would be considering moldy crow lets you keep unused focus tokens. In that case, I've swapped out Recon Specialist for Bossk and swapped ion pulse missiles for harpoons on Dalan Oberos

Observation - Whilst Palob Godahli is awesome and stuff, his ability (yoinking people's focus tokens) seems to overlap quite a bit with the Kimogila's party piece of the bullseye arc.

Torkil Mux seems like he might be a better choice of HWK-260 pilot as a result. Cheaper and also synchs well with Predator...

I love the Kimo's but have realized that in order to effectively use Torani, you have to make her either a 9 or 10. This way it gives you an opportunity to maneuver her into a prime shot to use bulleye's and strip away your opponent's tokens.

Also, putting TLT on Torkil seems a waste as you want him to be in Range 1-2, I would rather put on Ion Cannon Turret or Synced Turret.

Synced Turret and K4 Security Droid instead of Twin Laser Turret and Dengar would save a couple of points, and pairs up well.

It may make the Pulsed Ray Shields less attractive too, which would save another couple of points.

That would allow you to afford missiles for Torani as well, and guidance chips. You could drop Predator to Veteran Instincts and get an R4 Agromech, but that does leave you a bit vulnerable to Fenn/Jammer shenanigans.
