Being new to wargaming, I don't have any terrain or the like to add verity to the table. But trying a few things.

looks good
Thanks Bohemian. Here's another finished product and a WIP.
I got inspired by all the others I've seen and wanted to try my hand at it.
These are really good. I'd be crazy proud of these. Leaps better than my first attempt
Looks great - if you're doing a whole forest table to this quality it'll be awesome!
I like the cracked windows on the tie fighter, I will have to remember it for my crashed x-wing
Great work on all your pieces. Your table will be impressive. Most impressive.
@Sword named Folly I better see you post that updated crashed Tie Fighter. The community needs to see its glory.
Finished the Tie Fighter took a day off work to recoup from tax season...
now only one more AT-RT to finish... oh and I'm on dinner duty today... looks like its time to surface to reality and make a grocery run for taco fixings..
You sir are putting my upside down jellyfish to shame. Good job!
I really want to do a crashed starship. How did you do the damage?
@migs6000 I took out the windows with an awl and my exacto knife. Then I did the rest of the damage with a file, awl, and a pair of pliers.
Is it a model or a toy? I'm probably going to do this but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on building a nice model only to destroy it lol.
@migs6000 : Take a look at this Eta-2 Actis (marketed as "Jedi Starfighter). Very easy to put together, acceptable scale for the game, and fairly inexpensive. If you want to destroy a model for terrain, start with this one.
@migs6000 This was the Revell Tie Fighter. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0125KV5RO/ref=psdcmw_274307011_t1_B011258A7G
I was hesitant then the price dropped from 18 to the current price and I couldn’t say no. It was really fun. I want to try another one.
OP, did you use bark for the rocks? The log also looks like an actual log or a really good terrarium fake.
@Gorthaur25 Yeah, I used bark and actual tree branch. I hike frequently always stuff along the trails in the mountains near me.

It all turned out really well. Out of curiosity did you do anything to sterilize them? Bake in the oven @ 200F, spray down with bleach etc to get rid of the critters and microbes?
You have to be careful of mildew etc with natural materials like bark if you don't want them to start growing anything. Based on your posts it seems like you may be a new terrain builder so I figured I would chime in to maybe save you some heartache down the road.
Keep up the good work!
@Gorthaur25 Thanks i did do some bleach water. Thanks! I'm always looking for how to do things better, so thanks!

I resemble that remark. I guess I need to use something to kill off all the critters and microbes. At least some of my collections are not organic.
That TIE is 1:35 if it is this model: https://www.scalemodellingnow.com/hnscifi-first-order-special-forces-tie-fighter-star-wars-revell .
Do you have an image with a figure next to it?
Very nice!
Something to aspire toward (and fall short of
)

Scale works better than I thought it would. I have Revell’s A-Wing that I intend on doing something Legion related with. It is 1:43 or 1:44 and seems to fit perfect. I was worried this TIE would look HUGE.
