If the Cymoon has H9s, assuming normal dice, the game would be decided at the end of turn one, with how many Raiders are lunges up to be hit with a front arc.

With JJR though, he has the ability to change the facings that are exposed, and dodge big arcs shots.

Expect both players to have Nav dialled way up. Without a lucky accuracy, and taking to as granted that Ryan doesn’t let himself get double arc’d, the Cymoon can’t exploit a CF dial to oneshot a Raider, so the key will just be getting the gunnery teams to cripple two Raiders as early as possible.

Saying that, if a Raider eats a front arc, then moves into the Assault Gozanti kill box, it may well be toast, or at the very least, defence tokenless the next round against the consistent Cymoon side arcs.

Good luck both players!

yeah he needs to evade the front arc that is for sure.

I do want to make one apology: My previous lists in Wave 6 made an effort to incorporate Slicer Teams, which caused nearly every ship to engage. This list does not, for which I entirely blame Darth Vader whom is an anchor on a lightweight list at 18 points above minimum.

I feel that the Emperor prefers initiative. I am taking it in punishing him. No further action will be necessary.

You did look at my VWC list, right?

6 Raiders could have annihilated me at 365.

No, didn't look at your lists. Mine is a generic high raider fleet that, in a few different forms, I use.

Honestly, I think Morna/Fett are probably the deadliest part of that fleet's arsenal.

Sorry, meant the new rules for tabling, but since it isn't a tourney, we aren't using flotilla limitations rule.

Ah. See, as far as I'm concerned, official tourney rules=what I use every single game. But yeah, I understand now.

The argument was that Gozantis were better point for point than Raiders. Limiting them to only 2 seemed inappropriate for this particular game.

At least @ryanabt can say that you are forced to admit that ONLY 2 gozanti are better point for point than 1 raider at best. :P

Never mind. I miscalculated the passage of time. . .

Ah, of course. I looked at my calendar to check, and saw it was the 23rd. I thought 24 hours had passed.

I forgot my calendar updates at 12 AM. . .

I wanna make a joke about americans living in the past but I don't want this to get political.

Whatever! We live in the future. America's Future!!!

*I offended a number of people at work the other day when asked if I would give up my citizenship. As someone who has lived overseas, I don't know why you wouldn't leave yourself the option. Heck, if Australia, Canada, Great Britain, et al want to hire me at a university when I graduate, I would do it. The prospects in their system look far better than in the US. Even if they required me to trade out citizenship (which, obviously, they don't).*

By all means, if another country wants to pay me to teach Uni level history, I am in!

A fine game by all accounts ended with a 7-4 victory to @thecactusman17. Battle Report and file log to be put up soon (He has file log and I have images for battle report).

Given the technical issues we faced repeatedly, I do not know what state the log will be in when I post it. I will attempt to do so tomorrow.

This match featured everything. Massive damage, forcing a ship to fly off the board, hot Vader-boarding-Vader action, and an incredible sniper shot worthy of a victory trench run lap. All followed by a tense race to escape certain disintegration at the hands of Boba Fett.

Thank you @ryanabt for a tremendously fun match and for sticking through seemingly endless technical issues to finish the game.
