Actually, this is just one mission on one map. I don't see the comeback of these tactics, as these lists will be great on that one mission, but will suck on all other 5 missions.

yeah, unless this type of mechanic starts showing up again with the map that replaces NalHutta. I do wish they had something besides "pickup the crate" or "stand next to this flagpole"
Capture the flag would be great now that I think about it or some other type of mechanic
We had "bring the crate back to your zone" and "bring the crate to a terminal" and "spend an action beneath that shady contact"...
Edited by DerBaerlove it ! bring some of those back. I remember interacting with the patrons in the Mos Eisley bar over blue milk.
Maybe some of the others were so difficult that usually you ended up shooting each other instead. Didn't Obiwan's map have an "escape with a crate"?

Yeah and they were worth up to 10 points each if you got the there.
Yeah that map had awesome missions but the deployment zones were do unbalanced

Yep, which was amazing with the right end of the map, hired guns and a meat shield for them to hide in turn 2! get to 30 points from objectives in 3 turns
Edited by SoontirbeblownupTo my mind, the biggest loser with the new map is the one figure I was really hoping to be able to play again soon: the bantha. What with all the doors you can't open, by the time the bantha gets to their figures they'll have already spread so far around that you'll be hard pressed to get nine points' worth of damage out of him.
I'm pretty disappointed with this, actually. I was really hoping to be able to get this guy on the table in a competitive setting but now it looks like I'll have to wait another year+.
They'll have a hard time getting all of their figures out of an 8-6 area. Remember a lot of the map is impassable or difficult terrain and their sitting out in the open, they'll be easier to pick off

The biggest problem is that you just can't reach anybody in round 1 because of the doors. Even if you go first with the Bantha in round two you're likely only going to get that one activation out of it before it goes down (without their figures needing to get out of position to shoot at it). It's hard to make it worth its cost in that situation.

You could try to save him hidden back for a end of round 2 bomb but I tend to agree that this isn't going to be his best map.
Also hurts that han and IG will be able to shoot the bantha round 1 if its sitting in the middle area. In other words, it might not last very long into round 2.
no it would have to be a round 2-3 bantha rather than round 1-2. It really depends on what replaces Nal Hutta though IMO>
