I’d like to see B-Wing/E2 as a Title instead of a Modification. Would really help the B/W-Wing!

Sure, but there's also nothing much you'd put in the mod slot anyway
So now at least you have a title slot open for an actual fix (when defending, if the attackers is in your firing arc at range 1-3, you may add an evade result to your roll)
Both the B and Punisher would be quite appreciative, and you can give them a crew slot/lwf respectively
A B with foward reinforce and 3po? Seems neat

Edited by ficklegreendiceNo it would not. There are two schools of thought. Either chips and torps or cannon and crew. You don’t need to sink half of your list into doing both. There is not a single crew worth running in an ordnance B-wing build, (3PO maybe, but without Miranda’s regen you won’t get as much mileage, and Saw, but when you have Saw you don’t really need Guidance chips anyway) so moving the mod over to a title seems useless. Also given recent titles for the X-wing, gunboat, and tie defender, I would expect the B-wing to get something a little more substantial than a crew slot for its title. And consistenty arguement is really personal preference at this point.

B-Wings should have had reinforce from the beggining. Probably would still see play if they had it!

Oh just you wait. There's a reinforce coming, its just only works 3 times a round.
I like the b-wing with reinforce, but considering the way the wookie is going, maybe make it unique. Not sure I want to see multiple b-wings with it.
I have tried it as a title, it changes nothing but how many points you can waste on loading out a b-wing that still gets killt in 2-3 shots.
The title needs to be good, like @ficklegreendice's proposed additional evade result in arc costing zero points and only available to punishers and B-wings.
b-wings with 280 degree reinforce would be to broken. 180 degrees is already borderline gamebreaking. Make the title just add an evade in arc, no real reinforce.

Open up the Bwing dial, and especially the maneuverability and pilot abilities of elite Bwing pilots.

Scary looking, but without guidance chips (because this is a mod) all it really does is give the Bwing cheap options that dont actually increase power. 1 point to turn a 3 die primary into a mangler cannon, or 4 points to turn it into a 4 die HLC. 3 dice with a TL or a free 4 die no mod plasma torpedo. Extra Munitions and Linked Battery arnt secondary weapons, so the discount only applies to the one attack per round the Bwing gets.

4 point HLC is WAAAAAY OP. This is far to drastic.
Besides, the problem with the B-wing is survivability. No matter how cheap your toys are, it doesn't matter if you don't get to use them.

Back in the day, the decision between E2 and different mod was one that depended on what you had in your list. If you switch it to a title, then not only are you taking away the potential title fix (unless you word it funny to add titles and deny StarViper Mk. II one of its special traits), but you are also taking away the thematic choice one would make: is this B-Wing a heavy fighter or a support fighter?

Reinforce on a non-epic ship is a terrible idea that should never have been introduced to 100/6 play.
An infinite free evade is broken on anything that does not have 0 Agility, and even then is a bad idea without multiple bogies firing at it.

Opportunist says otherwise. 4 points for an extra die, with conditionals, is considered way UNDERPOWERED. Trick shot is a 0 point EPT.

you just have to introduce it in the proper way, i.e locked to the 80-degree primary firing arc
the auzzie is a bit silly given how difficult it is to get around the 180 arc, let alone being able to reinforce both in and out of arc
but if you can't kill a b-wing with its fore reinforced, then the problem is the player not the mechanic

So basically only locked to the front 25%? All shields full forward?? Could never reinforce the rear quarters??
Doesn't make much sense from a pseudo-science/lore based perspective (Han was angling defector shields all over).
But for gameplay. . .meh, I could live with that.
As a counter proposal, what if Reinforce was only available if you had shield tokens still??
After 3 (well, 6) hits, the auzituck loses access to that action? Thematic, and a nerf to the ability.

Han's deflector thingy is partially reflected in the MF title's evade action. In the case of the B/punisher, it'd just reflect that these are giant lumbering beasts meant to engage capital ships and fortified positions dead on, so they'd probably be built to survive punishment (heh) from the front but not so much if flanked
