Not a developed thought but are any of the creatures in the Bestiary usable as PCs?

The ogre for example or the hybrid?

They wouldn't be useable out of the box as PCs, but you could use them as inspiration for a PC. You'd have to either create a stat spread for that race and then build your character normally, or else maybe start with all 2s as a baseline (buying attributes for your character normally) and then work with your GM to figure out how much the special abilities cost. You probably wouldn't be able to afford to start with everything an NPC stat block has, but it'd be a good source for flavor.

I figured some work would be needed.

Still one or two will definitely be converted for another setting of mine when I have five.
