Mounted Combat Rules

The rules seem simple enough, but I have a few questions.

Are you able both attack with your mount and with your character?

It also states that you can use a single maneuver to move like you've spent two. Does that mean I can still expend two maneuvers, take the strain, and move like I've done four maneuvers?

Well it makes sense. Last time I checked, horses run a lot faster than I do.

Are you both able to attack? No, not typically. The rider and mount are treated as one character. Cavalier allows the character to direct the mount to perform an action.
