I'm hoping red, he feels too pricey compared to Leia to be that fragile. Then again, having 4/6 dodges all the time is kinda crazy.
With 2 rerolls and converting surges it has to be white or you would never damage him.
Yeah, we've seen nothing with constant red + surges, and we've seen no defensive rerolls. To go straight to red, surges plus rerolls for a character who's lore doesn't really imply he's mega tough (like having an 80% robot body for example) just seems a little too extreme for me.
I can't see any instances it would be worth trying to kill him with that defence. It's a lot.of fire power required.
What everyone else has said plus with Low Profile he will have Heavy Cover most of the time. No way he has a red die haha
He can also take an upgrade that gives him hard cover whenever he's attacked. Red would definitely be pretty bonkers/invincible.
White. I already plane on playing him, if red I will not because so broken.
I'm assuming that they're going with the red because they distributed the promo cards, and it's just something that will create a lot of confusion for people with playing Han if there are differences. I really don't want a precedent for the game that has some promos being more powerful.
Perhaps anyone who has a Leia/Veers card from Adepticon could compare it to the ones in the articles about them and see if they notice any differences and then expand to looking at the physical ones when they come.
I'm assuming that the article images were done with what amounts to prototypes

FFG has made mistakes with promo cards before. The Lord of the Rings LCG Aragorn had an incorrect threat level, for example. That's all this was. How many people really got the promo anyway that it's going to cause mass confusion?
Edited by Rain KingI'm pretty sure someone on here asked Alex Davy and he said that the promo card was misprinted with the red defense die, so that means he should have a white defense die. But hey, we will know for certain the next time we get an article or when we get the expansion.
Yeah gotta be white .
Find it odd that Leia is so much better in hand to hand though. 3 black is a lot better than 3 white.

So far red defense have been reserved for armored (in the sense that they literally wear armor) troopers and Jedi, white with surge for unarmored troopers, and white with surge/no surge for vehicles (especially those with the armor keyword)
Han probably will be like Leia, in that he isn’t a Jedi and has no armor.
Edited by DerraultI hear he has no dice anymore.
but when he did, they were gold.

I’m guessing han always shot first before melee range.
and the princess likely has self defense training.
Not to mention that the Han promo card's a Special Forces model and not a Leader.
I think it has got be white, especially with "Uncanny Luck 3" (reroll up to 3 dice while defending). White die + surges + reroll seems to be a pretty decent defense.
I agree, red would just be broken.
