Hello everybody.
I haven't painted anything but SW Armada vessels since MMOs took my time from miniatures back in 2009. before that I painted 40k Imperial Guard to kill time. I was happy that Legion's miniatures were larger than 40k as I took up the brush again, and I realized I might need glasses by now for details...
That aside, here's my rebel task force; or at least what I managed to paint by now. I apologize in advance for not finishing the bases, I am not sure how to do them yet.
I chose bold colours and broad strokes with the brush, going for something that would look good enough and recognizable across a table. Each miniature got a base coat of colours, got washed with Nuln Oil and then got another layer of the base colours highlighting the shaded miniature, followed by one layer of highlights before adding details.
Let's start by introducing 'Redhead' Ryder (possibly an alias...), Jedi purge survivor now about to take the fight back to the Empire.
Following behind the leader comes the infantry, Red squad first (squads identified by helmet bands).
Then Blue squad (yes, the Duros are okay with that designation!)
Green squad is next.
And last but not least Grey squad (they didn't want to be known as Beige).
Each squad should ideally have a walker to support them, though more often than not those roam the battlefield on their own missions; and so far only Red and Green squads got their support sent.
More stuff might follow once I got some more painting done. I'm working on an airspeeder (styled for Green squad) and Grey squad's walker.
I'm quite happy how everything turned out so far, but please feel free to add c & c. Thank you!
