If you broke a tab on a movement tool ...

By VAYASAN, in Star Wars: Legion

If you broke 1 of the tabs on a movement tool when you got the game and put it together, do you have a legit claim for contacting FFG or is it your own silly fault?

I have tried to persist with it but after my first real game last night, its now annoying the **** out of me, it not like I smashed it about when I put it together and I did nothing different to that I did with the other 5 I clicked together.

Ive always been loathe to try take advantage of such a good company when they offer such great service but not sure where I fall in regards this on this one.

Opinions?

Got that same problem. Interested in the answer.

Spent about 20 minutes (not even exaggerating - try it: 20 minutes is a long time) looking at instructions and tapping the one joint that wouldn't click, with increasingly forceful things, after my monster tabletop-player bulk* failed to get me anywhere. It clicked! And it did not break. But about five minutes into a game, the little tab broke off.

Very happy with official downloadable thingamoes, but would really like to see FFG super-awesome-cardboard measures.

*I'm fat. I know most tabletop players are not. Just putting that out there as an irony-in-an-irony thing.

Strange you say that, its how mine went too. It didnt seem to fit like the others but eventually seemed to go on without damage. Then after a very short amount of playing (like 5 mins into using it as you say) it was apparent the tab was broke.

2/3 were perfect. Definitely seems a production fault (as much as FFG have my goodwill for the quality otherwise).

Mine broke but drilled out both ends, stuck in some brass rod and re glued and so far so good. Pity it happened in the first place but there you go.

Also did that, but had a crazy-low diameter brass, and it broke, ha.

Will repair and not ask for replacement (I'm in Darkest Canberra, where I feel bad for the posters) but I think there's a reasonable cause for replacement (given it's only a piece).

TBH, maybe I'm spoiled by Ye Olde Privateere Presse, who will cheerfully replace a broken or missing bit anywhere.

It's not just you. It's clearly common enough that someone designed a 3d print to fix it!

Legion Ruler Fix

Just ask for a replacement! :)

I asked for and received a replacement already for this exact issue. Just use the website request, attach a photo, and you should be good.

If you can't get one contact 354 Studios. They have replacements available
